I'm Amy Bucknam. Currently, I'm working as an intern at CBS News in the Northeast Bureau. I also assist the National Desk staff, where I also interned last Fall. I'm also a contributing writer for The Fordham Observer. In the past, I've worked as a blog writer and editorial intern for BUST Magazine, an independent feminist magazine "for women with something to get off their chests."

I'll be receiving my Bachelors of Arts degrees from Fordham University Lincoln Center in May of 2014. At Fordham, I double majored in Communications and Media Studies with a focus in Journalism and Religious Studies, and also minored in Women's Studies.

Throughout my years of writing and studying journalism, I've acquired a skill set that I constantly work to improve. I enjoy writing articles and producing pieces that I hope will inform, enlighten, and even inspire audiences. More than anything, my objective is to open up dialogue about things that matter in this world.
